Full review

The NZXT Kraken Z73 stands as a premium 360mm all-in-one liquid cooler designed for enthusiasts who demand both serious thermal performance and a touch of personalization in their builds. At its core sits a 1.54-inch customizable LCD display embedded in the pump housing, allowing users to show real-time CPU temperatures, GPU stats, custom images, or even short animated GIFs through NZXT's CAM software. This feature transforms the cooler from a purely functional component into a focal point of the build, letting users display anything from hardware monitoring data to personal branding, logos, or playful visuals that reflect their style.

Beneath the eye-catching display, the Kraken Z73 relies on a third-generation pump design paired with a 360mm radiator and three Aer P 120mm fans to deliver robust heat dissipation for high-performance CPUs, including power-hungry chips from Intel and AMD's latest lineups. The pump itself is engineered for quiet operation while maintaining strong liquid flow, and the radiator's dense fin array works efficiently with the included fans to handle sustained overclocking loads. Reinforced sleeved tubing adds durability and a clean aesthetic, while the mounting hardware supports a wide range of modern sockets, making installation straightforward across various motherboard platforms.

Beyond raw cooling capability, the Kraken Z73 integrates deeply with NZXT's ecosystem, offering granular control over fan curves, pump speeds, and lighting through CAM, alongside compatibility with RGB synchronization for cohesive system theming. Its infinity mirror design on the pump cap, combined with customizable RGB lighting, complements the LCD screen to create a visually striking centerpiece for any build, whether housed in a tempered glass case or an open-air chassis. For PC builders seeking a cooler that balances high-end thermal performance with distinctive visual flair, the Kraken Z73 delivers a compelling combination of function and personalization that stands out in the custom cooling market.
