Cooler Master V850 Gold Pro

The Cooler Master V850 Gold Pro is a fully modular power supply built for enthusiasts and system builders who demand both reliability and clean cable management inside their rigs. Delivering 850 watts of continuous power, this unit carries 80 Plus Gold certification, meaning it operates at high efficiency levels across typical load ranges, reducing wasted heat and electricity costs while keeping your build running cooler and quieter. The single rail +12V design simplifies power delivery to demanding components like high-end graphics cards and multi-core processors, making it a strong match for mid-to-high-end gaming PCs and content creation workstations alike.

Under the hood, the V850 Gold Pro uses a robust combination of Japanese capacitors and a flat black cabling set, which not only improves durability and lifespan but also makes routing cables through tight chassis spaces far easier compared to older round-cable designs. The fully modular layout lets builders attach only the cables they need, cutting down on clutter and improving airflow around the motherboard and GPU area. Cooler Master also equips this unit with a semi-fanless mode, so under lighter loads the 135mm fluid dynamic bearing fan stays off entirely, delivering silent operation until thermal demands call for active cooling.

Protection circuitry on the V850 Gold Pro covers the essentials builders expect from a dependable PSU, including over voltage, under voltage, over power, over current, over temperature, and short circuit protection, giving peace of mind when powering expensive components. Its relatively compact 160mm chassis length ensures compatibility with a wide range of mid-tower and full-tower cases, even those with smaller PSU shrouds. Backed by Cooler Master's reputation in the PC components space and typically supported by a lengthy warranty period, the V850 Gold Pro stands as a dependable, efficient, and quiet foundation for custom builds ranging from everyday productivity machines to serious gaming setups.
